ELECTRIC MUD

I Just Want To Make Love To You

Genre: Psychedelic Blues FUzzy Wahwah

197?

The group’s two 45s exist in single digit quantities, only a handful have heard the rest of this Ho Chi Min City-damaged oeuvre. Their two 45s have been bolstered with four previously unissued tracks, found in the basement of a now-condemned motorcycle gang hideout in Dayton, Ohio.

Listen
Genre: wonderfully lo-fi, hazy psychedelic funk

Genre: chillout/instrumental/soundtrack/loops

Sun Ra - Sleeping Beauty (1979)

My favorite Sun Ra album I've found, more in the vein of Miles Davis' 'In A Silent Way' and Herbie Hancock's 'Mwandishi' than the lo-fi, orchestral Free Jazz experimentation of early Sun Ra. Beautiful stuff all around.

Have a listen

John Baker - The John Baker Tapes Vol.2: BBC Radiophonics (1963-1975)
